Aaron Stern is an artist, author and owner of the curatorial service, A Medium Format. His photographs, books and curatorial projects have appeared in such publications and institutions as the International Center for Photography, Paris Photo, LA Art Book Fair, Index Art Fair, The Paris Review, Vogue, The New York Times and Interview Magazine. Olivia Smith is co-founder and director of Magenta Plains, a contemporary art gallery located in the Lower East Side of New York City. Exhibitions have been reviewed in The New York Times, Artforum, The New Yorker, Art In America, Forbes, The New York Observer, Artnews, Artinfo, Artnet, and more. Formerly the Director of fine art edition platform, Exhibition A, Smith curated and managed artwork placement in hotels in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Mexico, and Australia.  Smith is a partner at AMF.


Together Aaron Stern and Olivia Smith have placed approximately 2,000 artworks at Hoxton Williamsburg, NY; Hoxton Los Angeles, CA; and The Blake Hotel, New Haven, CT since 2016.
